About the Pre-school

What?
The SRUF Pre-school is open to children from age 3 years. In September 2015 we were awarded 'OUTSTANDING' in all areas by Ofsted and we provide quality Foundation Stage education. Committed staff members, employed by the committee, run the Pre-school sessions and provide the best foundation for your child's pre-school development.
The Pre-school is a stimulating and friendly environment which benefits substantially from parental involvement.
For more information on the Early Years learning framework go here. There is also an attachment below with information on the EYFS for parents/carers.

We have been awarded the Bristol Standard, this is a self-evaluation framework which enables us to continually reflect on our practice and improve the quality and effectiveness of our provision. See attachment below for more details.

A selection of our Policies and Procedures are attached below. There is also a full list of all the policies and procedures that we have in place attached.

Fees
Current Pre-school fees are £12.75 per session. In most cases, the governments FEEE (Free Early Education Entitlement), 15 hours per week (universal entitlement) and up to 30 hours per week (extended entitlement) for working families, are available. The Administrator makes an application on the parent’s/carer’s behalf. However, you should note that the FEEE can only be claimed and used in the term following the term in which your child turns three. For more information on the Government's FEEE scheme click here.
